I have mixed feelings about this board. Yes, once assembled it works great. Good board for a startup. If you want to use higher quality components, you can. All chips and ATMEGA328P are genuine. The only place I see bad components is in resistors and 0.1uF capacitors. Pros: Arduino compatible board at a good price. ATMEGA328P comes with IC socket. So good for electronic starters that they don't fry the chip when soldering. The FT232RL USB to serial converter chip is soldered to the board. Total soldering time can take 15-30 minutes depending on experience. Good quality PCB Good quality 16MHz CrystalDC connector and polarity compatible with other Arduino Uno boards. This board is compatible with all Arduino boards. You can add any Arduino compatible shield above.
