After I put it to the test, it failed miserably. It couldn't handle more than one device at a time without disconnecting. The only positive thing I can say is that it was relatively cheap. However, that doesn't make up for the frustration and time wasted trying to get it to work properly.

If you are looking for a Freeduino, this is the one for you. You get all the parts you need to assemble, except for a USB cable to connect to your computer, but any mini-USB cable will do, and you probably have a cable from a camera or similar device lying around. If you've never experimented with Arduino before, this is a good and inexpensive place to start. I have mixed feelings about this board. Yes, once assembled it works great. Good board for a startup. If you want to use higher quality components, you can. All chips and ATMEGA328P are genuine. The only place I see bad components is in resistors and 0.1uF capacitors. Pros: Arduino compatible board at a good price. ATMEGA328P comes with IC socket. So good for electronic starters that they don't fry the chip when soldering. The FT232RL USB to serial converter chip is soldered to the board. Total
