Color Faded

UPDATE: Less than a year ago I bought this ring for my husband and it has completely faded to a matte silver color with some black spots, complete disappointment. This is the second tungsten ring I have bought for my husband and it is by far my favorite. I've read mixed reviews as well as complaints of the ring cracking or breaking and I highly recommend researching the material before purchasing. The ring "fits comfortably" and he said it fits well and comfortably around a beautiful ring. Tungsten is a chemical element also known as wolfram that has some pretty amazing properties. Of all metals, tungsten has the highest melting point and highest tensile strength. They are extremely durable and quite rare, but tungsten wedding bands are not made from pure tungsten, they are made from tungsten carbide. Pure tungsten is too difficult to machine, so tungsten used in industry and jewelry is mixed in the form of carbide. The difference between the manufacture of tungsten carbide (and titanium) and white gold is that they are either machined to size or cast at very high temperatures. Yes, you cannot resize the ring. But for the price and the look, they are definitely a good alternative. As I said above, if a tungsten ring is dropped on a hard surface, it can break or crack. Tungsten rings can break if enough force is applied to them. . That is, instead of bending, Like a ring of gold, tungsten must break. Tungsten rings are made from the most scratch-resistant metal in the world. In general, the ring is beautiful and inexpensive!
