Review on MOCA Compatible Challenger Chrysler Cherokee by Loren Rindfleisch

I received P0019 Cam/Crank Correlation CEL on my 2013 Jeep Wrangler 3.6. My timing chains have been "extended". The previous owner(s) seemed to have missed "a few" oil changes as there was quite a bit of sludge in the engine. Luckily I didn't pay too much for the jeep. This set was exactly what I needed. The quality seems to be very good. The setup for this wizard isn't too bad, but I have an elevator in my garage. The oil pan must be removed to change the primary chain and the oil pump chain. If you're just replacing the secondary circuits, you don't need to remove the sump (I don't see why you wouldn't want to replace all of them). I didn't use the provided RTV as I wasn't familiar with it. I'm sure it could be used, but I used Permatex Ultra Gray, which I'm more familiar with. I bought a set of timing cover gaskets from an auto parts store. It was good but there was a small round o-ring that I needed. Luckily I didn't throw away the old one and was able to reuse it. I followed the instructions in the service book exactly and took my time. In general, the work was not bad. Took a few days, but I'm not working too fast. I also had some mud to clean up and I also replaced the oil pump. I found out by accident that white spirit works wonders for sludge removal. I only discovered this because I noticed a gallon of these in my garage while thinking about what to use. The engine is now very quiet while it used to be a bit noisy when starting. CEL is also not yet available. Yes! Overall, I highly recommend this set.
