Review on 🎙️ Gray RCA RP3504 Cassette Shoebox Voice Recorder by Mike Goodwin

I bought this to record family members talking about family history and I plan to put everything on paper. I needed something that 1) was user friendly (unlike those digital recorders); 2) reasonable price (unlike digital recorders); and 3) ease of use (again, unlike digital recorders). This registrar met all three requirements. I wasn't intimidated by the size (which isn't that big) - this recorder fits perfectly in a plastic ziploc grocery bag, along with a microphone and cable. The only downside is that the microphone cable is very short. When recording family members, I need to think a little to conveniently place the recorder + microphone for optimal clarity of the speaker's speech. Admittedly I haven't used it without a microphone, so I can't write a comment on using it without a microphone. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. If you're looking for a recorder that's easy to work with, then this is it.
