A while ago I bought a pink Cuisanart 12 cup coffee maker, also through Revain. I specifically ordered one of the types that don't need filters. I thought to myself. After a few months, my coffee tasted like crap. So far I've been very happy with it. When this happened I washed it 5 times with vinegar and also with plain water. When I got back online to research, I found out that there are those activated carbon filters inside too. Then I read that if you don't change them every two months, you should expect your coffee to taste awful. If I knew this beforehand, I could order replacement filters and not have to wait until I needed a new coffee maker. I ordered them, delivered them and now the coffee is delicious. I've since bought a new coffee maker anyway and am using the replacement iced coffee filters I ordered. I'm not the kind of person who reads manuals well, which might be my fault, so I rate filters as I like them, it's not my fault. But the manual didn't mention the need to replace them, I found out later.
