In the end I just gave up and bought a set of Lynx levelers (which I should have made from the start) which can also serve as a jack base during the installation of the load levelers if you need to raise the entire truck or under the stabilizer jacks on one really uneven ground. In the end, this item sounds great and I REALLY wanted it to work - like other people seem to do - but it was just a waste of $80.
