Review on Andersen Hitches Leveler Frustration Leveling by Paarvin Freedman

Absolute waste of money!

I thought it sounded like a good idea. fine tuning? No! Maybe it's because we have a pretty big rig - 38 feet - but I found it impossible to get these things to stay under the wheels. Out of the box, they just sloshed out from under the steering wheel every time I tried to use them. Tried sticking anti-slip tape on the bottom. All that happened was the tape came off and they squirted out. Tried to stick anti-slip tape around the wedge so that it also sticks to the tire. No, one of them always injected. The tape literally ripped off the bottom. They might work well with a single axle setup, or maybe a smaller two axle setup, but what seems to be happening is that when weight is applied to the ramp, the weight will be a bit higher no matter how carefully you position it. as the others. The less loaded one started to slide a bit, causing it to be even less loaded until it finally sloshed out. In the end I just gave up and bought a set of Lynx levelers (which I should have made from the start) which can also serve as a jack base during the installation of the load levelers if you need to raise the entire truck or under the stabilizer jacks on one really uneven ground. In the end, this item sounds great and I REALLY wanted it to work - like other people seem to do - but it was just a waste of $80.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
