WORKS AS RECOMMENDED

This is a simple device that simply creates a bridge between an HDMI device and a USB enabled device. That's good, but it has its limits. It's rated at 1080p, so don't try to record continuous streaming from a 4K device. Recording from my DSLR to my laptop and importing the video directly into my video editing software worked well. I would rate this as good value for money.
