I bought this Asus laptop because I bought a piece of designer hardware that is exclusively controlled by software, which the Windows operating system requires . Since it's dedicated to this particular operation, I wanted an inexpensive but powerful laptop with a large, clear screen. The 15.6-inch screen is crisp, clear, and easily viewable from a distance and from multiple angles, without the major distortions you often see when viewing laptop screens from a certain angle. This Asus with Windows 10 Home (I converted it from Windows 10 S mode) works as per my design. The program works perfectly with no speed or functional lags. It's light, slim, the keyboard is comfortable to type on, and the colors show up quite well on the screen. While it's not gaming-ready (I'm not a gamer here), it's the perfect laptop for a student who needs basic computing needs, and like me, for someone who needs to run a Windows-exclusive theme program. My positive feedback certainly when I received an email offering an extended warranty. I really like this laptop. And it's from a dedicated Macintosh user! I definitely recommend this Asus L510 laptop. You can't go wrong.
