Love ASUS so much, Intel Celeron isn't the best

Let me start by saying this is probably the cheapest general purpose laptop, that you could have bought. You may find that it's not a Chromebook. Moderate your expectations, you get what you pay for. However, it's still a good laptop and a very good laptop for the price. I use mine specifically for making music on my side gigs and it works great. I have an ASUS VivoBook ($680) which has made me switch completely to ASUS branded laptops. I *LOVE* the big screen and slim design of this L510…

Great buy πŸ’• - Older laptops

This product lives up to its name! All of these qualities are true. It took a little while to get everything up and running, but that's because it's brand new and had to process all my old stuff from my previous laptop and load it onto this one. I used my old email and password and everything landed automatically on my new laptop. Great product, not too big and light. The only thing is the SD card doesn't fit regular SD cards but I think we'll phase them out, I just used an SD card reader…

Ridiculous - Notebooks

By far the slowest laptop I've tested. I'm amazed that Asus was willing to send this out given the solid track record I've had with them. I can hardly open Chrome without waiting at least a minute, the same only with Task Manager. Heck, I can hardly safely disable this thing without forcing ctrl-alt-brute-force delete. I suspect the vulnerability comes from this laptop which only has 4GB of RAM. I'm used to at least 8GB for laptops, but gave it an edge when in doubt, assuming modern technology…

Good cheap portable.

Pros: I like the backlit keyboard, fast and quiet solid-state storage, long battery life, and large 15.6” screen. Used as a simple school or business tool, this is a perfect computer. Not so good: 4GB of RAM is the limiting factor for this device. You will never be able to install additional RAM to run modern software or games as there are no RAM slots at all. 4 GB RAM is simply soldered to the device. Keep this in mind when purchasing. On the plus side, you can easily expand the 128GB SSD by…

Excellent PC quality: light, slim and fast

I bought this Asus laptop because I bought a piece of designer hardware that is exclusively controlled by software, which the Windows operating system requires . Since it's dedicated to this particular operation, I wanted an inexpensive but powerful laptop with a large, clear screen. The 15.6-inch screen is crisp, clear, and easily viewable from a distance and from multiple angles, without the major distortions you often see when viewing laptop screens from a certain angle. This Asus with…
