I used to be on the swim team and the winter competitions were absolutely freezing. I also dive with polar bears when they jump in the sea in winter so I know the value and need of a well insulated parka. This sherpa lined waterproof parka exceeded my expectations. It's like a big padded coat. It's very well made, including adjustable straps around the wrist and multiple inner pockets, which are great for traveling or taking off your coat so you can keep all your belongings in one place. The kit also includes a nice backpack that you can store or use while wearing the parka. I intend to use this on an upcoming trip to Iceland as it would be great for the weather there and getting out of the blue lagoon. I think it would be great for snow too.
