I bought these two power supplies for Polk Audio Atrium 6 speakers that I have installed in the back of my house. My goal was to allow anyone with a Bluetooth connection to play music while sitting outside. near the swimming pool. My back deck is about 100 feet long and 80 feet wide. I placed this amp about halfway down the deck. It's also important to note that the amp is indoors and actually in my HVAC room. This room is fireproof and has fairly solid drywall and insulation. I was concerned that this would limit the Bluetooth range. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the actual range of this amp far exceeds the rated 50 feet, despite the obstacles. Bluetooth signal strength is still over 50% at the very edge of my yard which is more than 200 feet from the amp. Even in this area, I don't experience any loss in Bluetooth connectivity or sound quality. While your mileage may vary, this little amp delivers everything I was hoping for and more.
