Supports DP 1.2 (and higher) -> HDMI 2.0 and DP 1.1 -> HDMI 1.4

This adapter works great. or up to HDMI 2.0 speed via active adapters. β€’ DisplayPort 1.1 supports speeds up to HDMI 1.2 through passive adapters or up to HDMI 1.4 through active adapters. speed (4K 60Hz 4:4:4), also allows my laptop with DisplayPort 1.1 to reach the full speed of HDMI 1.4 (4K 30Hz / 1080p 144Hz), which was a pleasant surprise. It also works to convert DisplayPort 1.3/1.4 ports to HDMI 2.0. The adapter was plug and play for me, no problems so far. Please note that this adapter is for converting a DisplayPort source to an HDMI display, it will not work (at all) for connecting a computer/laptop/HDMI console. to a DisplayPort monitor. EDIT: In fact, after some more testing, it doesn't seem to support more than 60Hz at 1080p from a DisplayPort 1.1 output. While it allows me to select 100Hz/120Hz/144Hz, it actually still runs at 60Hz and just skips frames. However, it runs at 1080p 144Hz with DisplayPort 1.2 and 1.4 output, which is still more than advertised. I tested it with a high speed camera and made sure it runs at 1080p 144Hz with no drop frames if you have DisplayPort 1.2 or higher. The Intel HD 3000 graphics chip I tested. I tested again with an NVIDIA Quadro NVS 4200M (also DisplayPort 1.1) and it worked correctly up to 1080p 144Hz from this chip. To be clear, these are the configurations I tested with this adapter: GTX 1080, DP 1.4 -> HDMI 2.0, 4K 60Hz RGB (= 4:4:4) - PassGTX 1080, DP 1.4 -> HDMI 1.4, 1080p 144Hz RGB - PassRX 480, DP 1.4 -> HDMI 2.0, 4K 60Hz RGB - PassRX 480, DP 1.4 -> HDMI 2.0, 4K 60Hz RGB - PassGTX 780 Ti, DP 1.2 -> HDMI 2.0, 4K 60Hz RGB - PassGTX 780 Ti , DP 1.2 -> HDMI 1.4, 1080p 144Hz RGB - PassIntel HD 3000, DP 1.1a -> HDMI 1.4, 1080p 100/120/144Hz RGB - Failed (60Hz Drop Frame) NVS 4200M, DP 1.1a -> HDMI 1.4, 1080p 144Hz RGB pass
