Great deal for camping and hiking
They work well. I ordered another one so now we have four pairs. We use them on top of each other so that you reach mid-calf. The other extends it to the knee. Not "heavy", but very light and simple. They definitely work for me when wading through wet grass and cutting with a trimmer. Easy to pack. You can put them on while the boots are already on the leg. The strap can go under the sole of the shoe, but I usually just buckle it around the ankle. I wouldn't mind if they were just black. But it is okay.
