All I needed was a hair dryer that wasn't huge or expensive. For me (as a beginner) it is ideal for filling with acrylic paint. I feel like I can focus the airflow on the canvas area. Basically, I have more control over where I want to blow out the paint. The cold shot button is also good. I don't feel like my paint dries with a hair dryer because it just blows warm air, so that's a plus for me. As with most hair dryers, the cord is not that long. It would be great to install it close enough to an outlet or use an extension cord rated for use with a hair dryer.
