Review on 🔊 Kicker 46KMC2: Weather-Resistant Marine Grade Compact Media Center Receiver with AM/FM, USB, and Bluetooth Capability - 200 Watts by Troy Gerhardt

I bought this to install in an RV. It does what I need it to do and the sound quality seems good enough, but I've had some issues with it. It likes to turn on randomly without command. First time after installing it at the campsite it came on several times in the middle of the night waking everyone up. I emailed Kicker customer support and they responded quickly, but they only advised me to put a power switch on the power line to cut power to the device so it wouldn't turn itself on. If the device's power button is fine, you don't need to do this. The biggest problem, however, is the abysmal FM reception. Powerful FM stations near me, which should be crystal clear, come with a lot of intermittent hiss, making it difficult to listen. This is very frustrating! I've tried a few different antennas with the same undesirable result. I would really like to get Pioneer or Sony.
