*EDIT* - Support contacted me a few months later. Corrected the display language to note that the 5V power supply over USB (even with a good quality 3A power supply) is not sufficient to properly power this screen through this driver board. It was originally stated that 5V 2A would work. This is awesome as I was able to adapt my project to use 12VDC but without the reformulation others might run into similar issues. I also received a partial refund for damage to my screen due to rough handling. Raised from 2 stars to 4 stars for this reason as I appreciate the support even if it's late! A note: there are menu options on the driver board to adjust the aspect ratio of the screen; it does nothing. *ORIGINAL REVIEW* Item received and all LCD mounting tabs are bent and warped. Fortunately there is no visible damage to the front of the screen. Tried to be powered from a 3A 5V USB socket but the driver board would not turn on. All flex cables are correctly connected, blue facing up. In the end I tried applying power from the DC connector and so far so good. First they emailed me about my problem and asked for some photos/video of the problem. I did that with no response. I probably should have acted quicker to get it back as it's clear the quality control isn't very good, but as long as it goes through the DC plug I'm fine with it.
