If you have an ipad as a hub for a smart home and everything works so-so, then buying a homepod will definitely justify itself Pros below: Works just fine as a smart home hub Intercom Sounds of the ocean, fire (hey siri play ambient sounds) Has cons: The lack of 2022 siri and the resulting extremely limited functionality Due to the fact that the u1 chip does not work in 2022, transferring music from the speaker to the speaker through gestures works very crookedly Lag in a couple of seconds when playing sound from a macbook
