This filter is thicker than the OEM filter. My 2016 Honda CR-V has 3 metal clips holding the box together. With the standard EOM filter, the rear clip towards the firewall is tight and harder to snap into place, but it will snap into place, once this filter is installed it will not snap back into place. I thought it might be an oversized rubber gasket on the outside but I removed it and put a more suitable standard gasket on top of the FRAM filter and it still didn't click. 2 out of 3 should work fine as long as I don't want to take the time to bend the clamp so it's a little bigger. Overall I expect this filter to work well as I've never had a problem with FRAM products.
