Review on πŸ’ͺ Powerful and Reliable: CHANCS TYC40 Synchronous Electric Motor by Jeremy Gums

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quiet motor, works great, helpful after-sales support.

We bought this to fix a fiberglass Christmas tree that has stopped working. It wasn't an exact match to our original (replaces 42TYZ, 3-4 rpm), but it was the best we could find and we found reports from others with the same situation that it would work. The replacement didn't work at first either so we reached out to the seller for help, thinking it might be DOA as we saw some reviewers claiming they got one. They responded promptly (and politely/professionally) by pointing out that every motor is tested at the factory, and they helped us figure out that somehow we had swapped out the tree's original power cord for the one from the old landline phone. I have no idea how it happened. Our original engine turned out to still be running as well, but we couldn't imagine going back due to our mistake, especially after moveu helped us figure out what we were doing wrong. Case. We used it several hours a day for several weeks and it worked great. It spins the wood color wheel a bit faster than the original motor that came with the wood, which is why we like it better. The trunk is also about half an inch longer than what came with the tree. But it wasn't that hard to adjust with the stack of washers and longer screws we already had when we assembled them, not knowing what you might need. The threaded tab was still a snug fit as were all the other features including the body size of the motor itself, mounting holes etc which we confirmed prior to purchase. Without the help of moveu, our fiberglass Christmas tree would not have been up and running this year. would recommend.
