Review on Grandma's Secret Laundry Spray - 16oz + 3oz Travel Size Combo, Effective Spot Remover by Christine Eads

I read reviews saying this product will get rid of stains and keep my shoes looking new. I assume they were leather shoes, not canvas shoes? My white vans were mud stained from the kids stepping on my toes. I'm a teacher and I love my Vans. I have multiple colors and styles and finally broke down and bought white thinking it was risky. When I found this product I thought they were saved, but they definitely weren't. The mud on my boots was just mud. I used this product and a stiff brush to apply the product to the canvas. I washed the shoes under running water and then let them air dry. I went through this process three times. There was a yellowish stain around the toe of each mark. It was MUCH worse than when I started. The yellow has also pooled around the heels along the seam edge. I don't know what it was, but I ended up putting them in the washing machine with mild detergent in hopes of restoring them. They were disgusting with yellow spots! I will NOT use this product anymore!
