Cannot be mounted and there is not enough base for the monitor

The base of this monitor is a disaster and destroys the usefulness of an otherwise cheap monitor. If you buy one, chances are you'll waste time regretting it and possibly ordering Welding for Dummies while you're thinking about how to make a new coaster. Samsung charges a fee plus shipping for a new stand - $170. The design is terribly bad.
