My husband installed this fan - in fact he is still installing this fan HOURS later! At first the screws weren't seated properly and he had to keep reinstalling them. Then, when everything seemed to even out, the wires, which seemed too long and bulky for the case and should just be there, were sticking out and tangling. Then when everything appeared to be assembled and he tried to turn it on, it wouldn't turn on! So he took it all apart again and tried to figure out what he had done wrong, only to find out that the batteries for the remote control weren't included! It's a small watch battery so we don't want it just lying around and nowhere on the box or in this listing is it mentioned that the battery isn't included. I mean the bulbs are on, so don't expect the battery to be on, especially when a custom type is required? However, we can't verify the fan is working until we get to the store to purchase this battery, so it was just a disappointing experience!
