Be careful with the fragile flap

This flap comes with my camper hood. I broke off the small pivot pins while cleaning. This damper is lightweight and has small pins on the ends for pivoting. If it is made heavier it may not work well with a small exhaust fan. To install it I had to remove the outer vent cover to reduce the risk of breaking the pins again. It seemed a little pricey for a thin, brittle plastic molding, but it fit perfectly and worked very well. The damper was sent in a small bubble envelope. I was surprised that the pins on the ends didn't break in transit.
