The kettle holds more than enough water to make 2 cups of tea. The lid doesn't fit well. However, it's okay if you keep pressing the top of the lid when pouring into cups/mugs. I was able to lower the screen to fit the cavity, but raising the screen was more difficult, so I don't recommend it. The price was comparable to teapots of a similar size, so overall I'm happy with this product.
