Review on Alessi MP1562 Wood Pepper Mill Black by Sheila King

Wow what a nice design this thing has. Very, very well done. The black version is painted so perfectly, sanded and polished to a smooth, almost matte finish. The top looks like salable polished steel and will instantly pop off like a clockwork tire on a wheel. Surprise surprise, this thing is HIGH! I mean very high. At first I thought about returning it, but then the height grew on me. to me it looks more like a work of art than an everyday meat grinder. i still like it I look forward to looking at it in my kitchen every day.
