After I removed the cracked screen and installed this, I found that the new screen had too many dead zones, rendering the iPad unusable. I have to rotate my iPad from portrait to landscape all the time to make it work. The iPad's grip isn't the best either.

The screen replacement went well, but I had a big problem. I later noticed that when I put my iPad in the sun, these weird horizontal lines appear all over the screen. Almost like lines on a notepad. Inside they are completely invisible, but in bright sunlight they are very annoying. I can replace this screen with another one from another manufacturer.

I mean thanks to this product I was able to get my old iPad working again but the adhesive is terrible. It's still going up and not staying level and I have yet to find a solution. People should also note that the screen does NOT come with a small thin plastic frame that holds the actual screen to the iPad. Fortunately, my plastic frame was intact, otherwise this review would not have been so joyful.

Working with an iPad can be difficult, especially when the bezel (the small plastic ridge on the iPad's frame) is bent. Aside from that, the glue wasn't the best. I was a bit disappointed with this glass. While this allowed me to restore full functionality to my iPad 3, there were some quality issues. The button was not placed correctly. This may not matter to most, but every time I look at it, I see that the square on the button isn't quilted. I like that the jar already has a button so I don't have to transfer my old button to it.
