I bought these because my arthritic hands were so sore from sewing with regular scissors. That's great. The finger holes are large, soft, comfortable to hold and use. The scissors are really great. It cuts the thread every time without having to "cut" the thread and without any further problems. I haven't tried it on material because I don't want to accidentally dull his awesome carving - I'll probably buy another for cutting material [which I don't do often]/general purposes [which happens often]. These scissors are not junk, as often happens when you order something contactless in a store. Thanks to everyone who wrote reviews.
