They are great: craft supplies

I bought these because my arthritic hands were so sore from sewing with regular scissors. That's great. The finger holes are large, soft, comfortable to hold and use. The scissors are really great. It cuts the thread every time without having to "cut" the thread and without any further problems. I haven't tried it on material because I don't want to accidentally dull his awesome carving - I'll probably buy another for cutting material [which I don't do often]/general purposes [which happens…

  • Available in white only

Ideal for appliqué and other sewing projects.

I love these scissors. The blades hold them great, so if you're cutting out an appliqué or whatever, they'll securely hold what you're cutting. Straight blade scissors also can't hold what you're cutting. For example, if you try to cut a circle with straight-blade scissors, the fabric may move toward you, and when you're done cutting you'll find that you didn't cut it as accurately as you thought. However, these scissors will give you a nice clean cut if you follow your cutting line. Scissors…

The scalloped edge is everything

I have been quilting for about 2 years. I have several other scissors. Ginger, Fiskars, etc. You'll top these six Sunday ways. They are razor sharp and the serrated edge makes a world of difference. Sometimes when I cut small pieces of fabric other brands seem to push the fabric away when I try to cut. The serrated edge of the Karen Buckley scissors allows them to catch on the fabric, allowing me to get a nice straight cut. The handles are very comfortable with wide openings. I have a 4 inch…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Good scissors, bad packaging.

I am satisfied with these scissors. They have a slightly jagged edge and it took me a while to get used to the feeling of them cutting through fabric. I don't know how to describe the feeling - there is a sense of resistance or grip when the blades meet, but the blades cut surprisingly well so there's no real resistance. I think I'll like them better with practice. The grips are cut comfortably and cleanly and efficiently. I'm deducting a star because the package didn't come with a blade guard.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Damaged
