I buy these because I like them and I'm a Star Trek fan. I noticed the quality is different as this is my third belt buckle. The first lasted about 2 years because the weld connecting the ring that the belt rests on broke the welded pin, the second belt lasted about 3 months because the part of the buckle that fits the holes in the belt was welded Belt. broke up. I just received the third one and hopefully it will last longer than the other two. I would advise those who make Star Trek belt buckles to check the welds with a system that can check for bad welds. Also, I love them and a lot of people like my belt buckles and I tell them where I bought them so they can get them themselves.
