I ordered a set of large glasses and a set of small glasses. I love big glasses - they hold a lot and look great. However, I am sending the small glasses back as they are not big enough. The description mentions that they hold a meager 1/4 cup. This is a misconception - they barely hold 2 tablespoons of dried spices or herbs. The aim was to replace the small glasses in the cupboard with these on the fridge. Unfortunately I still had all those little jars in the cupboard because I couldn't pour all of their contents into these cute but tiny jars so they would sit there and refill. I really like the quality of the jars and their shape, the magnets are very strong and the large jars look great on the fridge. But the little Gneiss needs to do some research and make a jar that's standardized for the little American spice containers you buy. I use Penzi spices and their smallest ones are still too big to fill into small gneiss glasses.
