This has now proven to be a very good way to mount my truck's tool box to the sides of my pickup without drilling holes in the bed of the truck. The box will hold securely in place. Dec 2019 Update - It's been 5 years since I've bolted my truck's toolbox to the side of my truck with these Better Built mounting blocks and they've never failed. The box is securely installed and does not move.
