No. Only No. for art supplies and tools

My father made his living as a woodworker and I remember him repeatedly telling me to use CitriStrip so I would never use that or else. I stuck with it until my last project (an antique desk covered in black spray paint). Not everyone had my favorite brand, but I wanted to gain an advantage with this brand. I should have waited I ordered it and it really didn't do anything. He never did things with a white blister. When scraping, no more than the top layer was removed. I dug through the whole jar and barely left a dent in the lid and two sides of the table. Hours poured in and all I had left was a mess. I tried several ways - I left it for a couple of hours, I gave it a few, I closed it for the night. Nada. Nothing worked. I went and ordered my favorite stamp to have it finished - it came out beautifully. Quickly. Sorry, but that just didn't work for me. I have used it side by side in the same project under the same conditions and it was no comparison to CitriStrip.
