A couple of times we've had a newly adopted 6 month old cat poop outside the crate, although most of her instances went to the litter box with no problems. I started cleaning the litter very well (MANY times a day) in case she gets insulted by another adopted kitten. Then I sprinkled a layer of these herbs on top and mixed them lightly into the top of the litter. The smell is pleasant and reminds me of a freshly cut wild meadow, dried and crushed. A little more herbs than just grass or hay. It doesn't mask other smells but adds a natural/fresh layer. Best with odorless fillers. After the changes, we had no more accidents to report.
