I got a size 6 for my 3 year old who wears size 4-5 pants and has a round bottom. The 4's still technically fit him, but where they were pulled together he was a bit full, especially where the belt was around his stomach. They have some room to grow and are raised a bit, but overall they fit him very well. There is a wide range of designs to choose from and he loves them and likes to choose which one to wear. I love that there is a pair of Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong. I recommend.
