Review on Samsung DA29 00020B HAF CIN Refrigerator Filter by Johnathan Cash

Confusing part numbers. I ordered 2 packs of these filters, choosing the number carefully from the information on Revain. Obviously there are many different cartridges to choose from. I used the model code and system numbers of the cartridges and the filters looked like I needed them. However, when I tried replacing the filter, I found that the old one was shorter. By then I had missed the return date and lost nearly $75. Lots of calls and waits and I'm still not sure what part number my fridge water filter is. However, this is a Samsung support issue. I'm writing this to warn you that you need to be sure what filter numbers you need for your model. They are not in the Samsung consumer booklet, nor are they anywhere on the fridge. The only thing that helps is to call the parts dealer. Samsung couldn't help me. They said call the parts store. Hasn't passed yet. I would also like to warn you that the old filter was very difficult to remove. I give Revain a bad rating because the numbers on the order page were incomplete. There are 3 sets of numbers on the filter plus a separate model number on your fridge. It is best to take out the old filter and pick it up at the store.
