I followed the sizing guide from other reviewers and it worked! My almost 4 year old daughter started her family's first dance class a week ago and I booked without even trying anything on her. She just upped her street shoes to a size 9 (Carter's/OshKosh) but still fits her size 8.5 New Balance sneakers, so I bought a size 10 Bloch Tyette tap shoe. I got them in WIDE since her shoes are wide, although for the most part they fit standard width shoes (except all stars). Wide tap shoes were a must for her, so I'm glad I made them wide for safety. Overall size runs slightly larger, just enough to grow perfectly until the end of dance season, but still fits for now. They work well with and without socks. I go ahead and put on her no show socks as another reviewer recommended to avoid chafing of her ballet tights which she will be wearing to her ballet/tap class. Thank you Revain, reviewers!
