I bought a 1998 Toyota Camry. I wrapped the hood in carbon fiber vinyl and of course wanted the hood pins to match. First, they were a bit of a hassle to install. Mainly due to the way the underside of my hood was designed, but it was still more of a hassle than it should have been. Now almost a few months later the carbon deposits on the pins have turned brown and completely ruined the look of my vinyl. Apart from these shortcomings, the locking mechanism works great and so far there has been no corrosion on the metal of the bonnet pins. So in all honesty, you get what you pay for.
