For many years I had a Dewalt 12v electric screwdriver and used it constantly for drilling and screwdriving. Then one day he disappeared and left him outside while he worked on my fence. So did someone else, bless them. Of course, after using it about 25 times, I had to buy another one. The bare tool option is cool as I already had a case, charger and battery. However. Screwdriver was not available. but there was a hammer drill, almost the same size and weight, so I gave it a try. I am very happy that everything turned out this way, because the impact drill is a POWER that hammers everything into everything. The battery life is excellent. Does everything a screwdriver can and more. The placement of the LED lighting is perfect and versatile. Keep it up Dewalt! Also the 12V mini flashlight is great. I have my eye on a 12v saber saw!
