Much better than my previous webcam. The predecessor was flawed from the start. There are no problems with that yet. The tripod is nice but too small for me (the camera is looking in my nose). So I just put it on my monitor. The camera works well in any light. The ring light is small and doesn't really do much unless you're very close to the camera (e.g. for a portrait). I sit with my back to my monitors where the camera is, so the ring light isn't a huge plus. But the camera works great.
