Review on 300W Ultra Power Electric Hand Mixer by SHARDOR with Turbo for Whipping, Mixing Cookies, Brownies, Cakes, Dough Batters by Phillip Ellis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent hand mixer

Our old hand mixer burned down (literally - the motor started sparking and smoking) and after a quick search we settled on this Shardor hand mixer based on price, features, features and looks decided (all our devices are a combination of black and stainless steel, so we wanted something to match). The stand isn't bad, although nothing special; This is a lightweight plastic base with slots for attachments and a slightly recessed base for standing the blender when not in use. The blender itself is small, easy to use, and powerful. You can easily adjust the power/speed with your thumb (from 1 to 5) and another switch puts it in turbo mode, further increasing the speed of each setting. and also make a thick glaze. The dough can also be kneaded very well on the lowest level. The frosting (made of softened butter, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and milk) was very powdery at first and then got a lot thicker, but this blender had no problem with that either. All I know is that it would be a lot more labor intensive to mix this frosting by hand, especially at a thick consistency. can be wiped off relatively easily with a damp or dry kitchen towel. In terms of improvements, we'd probably prefer a storage box over a plastic base, as it would be more convenient to drag it out of its storage location and into a closet that way. A slightly longer cord could have been used, but that's not really an issue as we used it on the counter right where the outlet was. In general we are very satisfied with it. It's small, easy to store, works well, and is very affordable. This is a great little blender.
