After a long search I finally found WOVEN Sheets at a reasonable price. Little did I know they weren't a "thing" anymore. Given my own experience with knitted sheets and the "burrito" effect, I'm surprised anyone would let their child around knitted sheets. Due to the nature of woven fabrics compared to knits, they aren't as soft (but still reasonable. 100% cotton is pretty soft on its own) or stretchy, but the edges are stretchy enough to be changed easily, and there are too enough space for a double shift during sickness. I haven't bleached them so I can't comment on true color fastness. but the color stayed vibrant after several washes on warm and once on hot. I highly recommend this product.
