I needed a replacement tablet and was tired of Android updates being slow and manufacturers abandoning their products six months after purchase (I tell you Samsung!). I decided to give the Chromebook a try, although the choices were limited. I chose Asus because of the size and solid construction. I like how it feels in my hands, although typing in portrait mode can be a bit difficult. Battery life seems very good, and it's fairly fast, although it also has an annoying habit of lagging around 20-30 seconds when you first turn it on. It also gets warm, especially when you charge it. I still have to get used to the Chrome OS and Android apps can be a bit unstable when loading. I hope the updates take care of it. Although it is intended for students, it is also suitable for adults.
