holes? Don't stress, it should be there.

Before I bought these, I saw a lot of people concerned about the punching near the weld points of the straps on the mask. I contacted Honeywell and they told me the cutouts don't affect efficiency and they should be there. I also checked that particular model number to see if there were any reviews or anything. I did not find any reviews and found this mask on the CDC list of acceptable N95. So if you have any doubts about these masks because of this, don't worry, they work as intended. Some people may find these masks too small, they need to fit snugly. If your mask is comfortable or loose like the ones you can buy at almost any store, it's not protecting you properly. They should be snug against the face to create a seal, but not really a seal because if it were a seal you wouldn't be able to breathe. You understand what I mean. I have tested this mask on people with fairly large heads and they got a little nervous trying to get the straps over their head but once they were sure the straps weren't going to break or anything they could handle it, that the mask was turned on and off with no problems. Of course, if you have a large head these masks are going to look a bit odd on you, but as long as they cover your nose, mouth and chin and fit snugly around your face, they work as intended. So far they work pretty well and keep my glasses from fogging up. But your mileage may vary. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend buying them for myself. KN95 would be better, but they've gotten harder and harder to find on the CDC list since the emergency order was lifted. Contact the manufacturer to find out what's going on with what you're seeing and find out for yourself before you decide there's something wrong with it without information.
