Quality kit that saves lots of time

This kit was used to replace the rear wheel bearings on a 2001 Porsche Boxster. There are all the details, you need to pull out the hub and pull the bearing out of the carrier. Did all the trunk work on the car. This avoids breaking ball joints for dropping control arms and fiddling with a disassembly press. Maybe halve the time to complete the work. Tools and cases are of good quality. There is no fear of breaking something.

MUST BE! - Tools and Equipment

What a great tool set! No more fumbling and hammering on the hub with a cumbersome slide hammer. The tool made wheel bearing installation so easy. Don't be afraid to apply blows to the instrument, he handled it with no problem. Have used 2 bearings so far and haven't seen any damage to adapters or bearings as some others have reported. Just keep an eye on the alignment and I'll run the tool out with a wrench and then drop it with a bang. Seriously found a replacement press!

Good quality, got the job done for half the price of a competing brand.

Removing and installing front wheel bearings and hubs on my 2000 Honda Accord with this easy to use tool that reduces my labor without having to remove the entire steering knuckle to press out the bearing. My only downside but it doesn't really matter to me since this tool got my job done in a short amount of time. The plastic lock is brittle and breaks easily, so I have to tie it down with a zip tie after use. Otherwise this tool is amazing.

Great tool! Best in Wheel Bearing Tools

This is probably not for a backyard mechanic, not because of the tool or the ease of use of the tool, but because of the difficult task of replacing a wheel bearing on a car. I have a repair shop and after using it I kick myself for not buying it 10 years ago. It worked flawlessly and is relatively simple in context. Pressing in bearings can be difficult and requires a fairly powerful hydraulic press. I would even say that this tool made the job easier than a press, even without considering the

Worth every penny if you work in mechanics

I am a mechanic in a professional shop. The idea of using a press for these bearings sucks because it can be tricky to get it right. This tool is amazing! I've used it twice already and it removes the hub and bearing easily and quickly. The spindle is still on the machine, all you need is a hard hit and bam! It's from. The only thing I would change is pulling out the hub, there is no adapter for the rear, just a nut. The first time I used it it worked great except I had to knock the nut out of…

The best camp press at any price.

I have used this type of press in many shops and work as a professional auto technician, ASE master. That's what I like and that's why I bought it for myself. Of course with a little care it will last for years, if you really try you can ruin it the first time you use it. The supplied bearing for the ejector screw is scrap and I destroyed it on the second machine. I found another much better bearing on Amazon for $9 and it's sturdy and perfect for a kit. GOOD BEARING 608VBF53 It has an inner…

Good quality steel: Wheel bearing tools

This tool kit was great. I used it to pull the hubs and replace the 40mm x 40mm x 80mm rear wheel bearings on a 1980 Porsche 911SC. The instruction manual was clear and easy to use. Much cheaper than the full SIR tool kit and the discounted Porsche 911 SIR tool kit that I reviewed at Pelican Parts. The instruction manual was well written and I didn't have the problems that others have reported. I have uploaded a photo/measurement chart converted to metric in case it helps you decide if this kit

Stupidly fast and well built. I would pay more for this quality.

Wow. just wow. I work in a shop and have a large press, a full set of old school wheel bearing press tools, and all the hammers and bits of wood you might need to get the job done. Then I loaned my press to a mechanic friend of mine and he messed up the threads and refused to replace it. As you understand, he did not succeed, but I digress. I needed to buy a new percussion press and ran to Revain to see what I would have to pay for it. I came across this OEM kit and read the reviews. I watched…
