Stupidly fast and well built. I would pay more for this quality.

Wow. just wow. I work in a shop and have a large press, a full set of old school wheel bearing press tools, and all the hammers and bits of wood you might need to get the job done. Then I loaned my press to a mechanic friend of mine and he messed up the threads and refused to replace it. As you understand, he did not succeed, but I digress. I needed to buy a new percussion press and ran to Revain to see what I would have to pay for it. I came across this OEM kit and read the reviews. I watched the video and then checked other YouTube videos. I decided to give it a try and see what comes of it. I bought this kit and almost as soon as I arrived I started repairing a wheel bearing on a very rusty Chevy. This direction looked like it was going to be very painful to get out of, but I got confused in directions until it all started to make sense. I assembled the necessary components and to my surprise he pulled the hub out smoothly. After a moment I readjusted the bearing and gently pulled it out. Almost no sweat came from my punch. A few minutes later I readjusted the kit again and centered and pressed in the bearing in the steering knuckle without any effort. Then another replacement of the part and the hub was in place too. In general, the process took a long time. Approx. 30 minutes, with the steering knuckle still attached to the vehicle, including reading instructions. I've never used anything so sleek and well built to get the job done so quickly. For the mechanic who works to a schedule, this tool is a must!
