These bins are very durable and seem to last a long time. I've used them to organize my spare room, which is actually more like where my nephews stay when they arrive, and a 'playroom' for them. We like to keep toys for different ages as they are 4-3 years old. to 9. I put medium-sized Lego bricks in one basket, small toys for older boys in another, and small toys for a three-year-old in the last. This makes it easy for the elders to find toys that are meant for him and I don't have to worry about a 3 year old getting toys he really shouldn't have (he still puts things in his mouth sometimes) . .Because these containers have handles, they are easy to take off the shelf. And it's easy for them to throw everything on the floor - haha. They are great for organizing toys. I've been thinking about ordering another set to organize my husband's clothes - we've used shelves instead of dressers, but some things look best in baskets. At the current price of about $10 each (only about $30), I think that's very reasonable. I've seen similar containers cost a lot more. I also really like that you can squish them if you want so they're practically flat for storage. I personally don't use this at the moment, but maybe it's a feature that will come in handy for you.
