I ordered an Extra Small Bedlift Kit for my small under-truck storage compartment. I figured the "Extra Small" in the description meant the gas spring would be the size of a light platform with a partial bed. When I had assembled the system sufficiently for testing, I could not compress the gas springs. When I took them off and checked the spring's model number, I found they had sent me two 80lb compression gas springs - it would take a total of 160lbs of weight/force to compress them. I've contacted the manufacturer about changing the gas springs to 20lb springs but never got a response from them. I couldn't order this brand of lighter springs directly anywhere so I wasted my time and money. Since you cannot specify spring compression when ordering, there may be a mismatch, as I did.
