I'm pleasantly surprised by this mount. I installed it on my mountain bike handlebars and am pleased with how easy the mount was and how well it holds my phone. I have a OnePlus 7 Pro that's just over 6.5 inches from corner to corner. That keeps it in the suitcase easily. Simply pulling the levers to open pushes the phone inward to push the mechanism and it closes. phone corners. It has held up well on many road rides and some lighter trail rides. If you don't want to install the mount, you can detach the phone holder and a tiny 2" x 1" clip remains. on the handlebars that are unobtrusive and make it easier to pack or store the bike. My only doubt is the strap-like screw mount that attaches to the handlebars. If there is too much torque, there is a risk that the threads of the softer plastic will be stripped. The loop when turning the nut helps with gripping and you shouldn't have any problems. Overall I'm satisfied.
