At just 3 inches long, this USB-C to TB3 cable from Fledging is the shortest cable I own. These short cables come in very handy when I want to connect something like an external SSD to a desktop docking station. Long cables only bother me because I don't need the additional cable length. This is a great way to get rid of desktop clutter. The cable comes in a simple zippered pouch. The cable insulation seems to be quite strong and reliable and looks and feels like tire tread. Gummy, chewy but not sticky. The connector tabs are thin, aluminum, compact, and fit into the socket of every device I've tried so far, which isn't typically the case with USB-C cables. I don't have a TB3. devices, so I can't comment on that. But for the USB-C devices I have, I'm getting transfer speeds that meet my expectations. CONCLUSION: Yes, this cable is quite expensive. But I would pay $10 for a 3 inch cable like this as it works with every device I have and avoids the clutter I live with all the time. Assuming this little fella continues to perform just as well as it did before, I'd definitely recommend him. Better than expected, 5 stars.
